The Office

At work, I try to avoid ever assosciating myself to any group. Hey.. I'm flexible, man... (In other words, a Lone Ranger..hahaha). With more than 150 employees at work, of course there will be groups. Men and women alike. And the in-betweens... Yup, there are several of them here!

The Sharks.

Mostly consists of women, and some men behaving like women. They specialize in backstabbing others. You never say anything incriminating to them. Once, I made a mistake of saying too much during one of my breakfast sessions with this group. I said something about the pathetic state of our office. In our next staff meeting, the BOSS actually said that if a certain subordinate is not satisfied with him as a boss - transfer to some place where the office condition is much2 better. And he was looking at me..!

This is a group everyone should be weary of. These sharks usually infest the admin or the boss office. There might be one at yours.. Be vigilant!

The Gossip Girls.

This one is responsible for the entertainment industry at work. You would find them at the office lounge, 'hush-hush'ing about something. You can also tell them by their appearance- loud make-up, colourful and usually, they got matching handbag and shoes. More than often *guilt**guilt*.. I chipped in. The new girl there got son already.. but NO HUSBAND yet! OMG, really? Betuuul..!!!

They are generally harmless, unless you are the "Headlines".

The Sweepstakes.

You can't miss this one. They seem to be always on the go, very-very busy but always manage to give you a quick smile (they have to be the friendliest too). They are one of the boss's favourites. They are the busiest persons at all events. And, the most popular too.

Harmless. But, you may hate their drives...

The Lone Ranger.

Mainly consist of me and myself.

Well... Actually there are quite a few at work, but because of the nature of the business; we don't identify ourselves with each others.

We are quite harmless.. We avoid trouble, and do our stuff in silence.. But just enough to keep oursleves out of the boss's radar. We are flexible.. We're neutral. And we believe in working for what we're paid for.. No more nor less...

I believe they are many more groups you can relate to at work but in the end, it is your family at home that matters most.
